Verse 1
O Lord, we praise Thee for Thy care
Upon this holy temple here,
The devil must not fight and cause
Panic to the worshippers there.

Verse 2
We build this wall for Thy honour
Use it for Thy great praise always
And when Thou be pleased to descend,
Fill all its corners with Thy grace.

Verse 3
And when that terrible day comes
When God shall judge the heav'ns and earth
Let it be known that in this house
Many were born to Thy glory
