The convention opened with a heart-rending presentation by the elementary children from the Lagos Area using the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda to illustrate how Jesus not only healed but also freed him from sin, reminding all that the same Jesus still liberates anyone who comes in faith. The youth services continued in this line of victory, ringing with messages of God’s assurance of deliverance to all who believe. Seats were specially reserved for teenagers and young adults in the Tabernacle during the evening service, underscoring the call for young people to seek the Lord early and embrace their Christian graces.

Throughout the week, testimonies poured in as undeniable evidence of God’s power at work. Worshippers shared their experiences of healing from various diseases, restoration from hopeless situations, and even the dead raised back to life. One sister testified of God’s power to deliver her from the grip of darkness, much like the transformation of Mary Magdalene in the Scriptures. These testimonies, alongside the Bible teachings and youth services, inspired faith and reminded all that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Despite heavy rains during the week, the joy of worshippers remained undampened; the Tabernacle was filled with saints pressing through in prayer, while seekers gathered nightly, tarrying before the Lord for deeper experiences.

Among the week’s remarkable events was the Teenage Challenge, where young believers tested their knowledge of God’s Word, focusing on the books of Wisdom - Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. After rounds of rigorous competition, the teenagers from the Rivers Area emerged victorious as the Bible Giants for the 11th season of “Who Wants to Be a Bible Giant?” The week then climaxed with the Camp Concert, a breathtaking evening that featured “Gloria” and “Blessed be Thou, Lord” by the choir, as they lifted hearts in praise. A highlight of the concert was “Spring Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi, alongside lighter renditions such as “Plink, Plank, Plunk.” which were presented by the Chamber Orchestra, while a melodrama vividly portraying how Jesus liberates from sin, sickness, addiction, and depression was presented to bring the concert to a close. The concert ended at the altar, where many prayed through to divine victory. Brother John and Sister Rodica Musgrave who arrived on Saturday, were able to attend the concert.
